Mysore Race Club has expanded the scale of veterinary services offered at its premises. A full-fledged veterinary hospital is in operation ever since Mysore started two mini racing seasons at the turn of the century. A team of veterinary doctors take care of the needs of locally based horses.
The turf club has been importing latest equipment pertaining to x-ray, scanning and other related areas.
The club is planning to build an equine swimming pool. The construction of the same was delayed due to logistical reasons due to efforts directed at building new stables. The old block of stables which was a kilometer away from the club was taken back by the government to expand its administrative wing a few years ago.
